The primary purpose of this study
by the GCCA is to honor Garrison (Garretson,
Garritson, Garratson) and Rude (Rhude)
veterans as well as veterans related
by marriage to Garrison and Rude families.
These heroes served in the Revolutionary
War, the Indian Wars, the War of 1812,
and the Civil War. The fucus has been
on the Garrison and Rude veterans
or their veterans relatives who are
residents of the Garrison Cemetery
in Marion Twp., Clinton County, Ohio
and their veteran relatives who are
residents in other cemeteries elsewhere
