GARRISON CORNER CEMETERY ASSOCIATION (GCCA)

The Garrison Corner Cemetery Association accepts membership for people who cannot be actively involved in the restoration of the cemetery but desire to financially support the activities of the Garrison Corner Cemetery Association. A Synopsis of the Minutes of the Annual Meeting will be posted on the GCCA Website. Plans are as follows:

Single Membership - $10.00 per year. Click here for a membership form.

The Garrison Corner Cemetery Association will establish a separate Perpetual Care Fund. Donations may be made also to this fund. This fund will be legally designated as a fund for the future care of Garrison Cemetery. In the event the Garrison Corner Cemetery Association is no longer active, the Marion Township Board of Trustees will be responsible for this fund and legally will only be able to use the money for the maintenance of Garrison Cemetery. Garrison Cemetery is now the responsibility of the Township Trustees. But by law, they are only required to mow the cemetery once a season. We have been very fortunate that the Trustees in Marion Township, Ohio have been very supportive of our Association and our cemetery is given outstanding care. At the present time, the Association carries an insurance policy on the fence, flagpole, signs and monuments at the cemetery in case there would be vandalism. Click here to contribute.
